July 6, 2026 – Morristown, NJ – At its June 10, 2026, public meeting, the Morristown Parking Authority (MPA) was presented with the 2025 Safety Incentive Award by Al Barlas, Director of Marketing for the New Jersey Intergovernmental Insurance Fund (NJIIF).

The award recognizes organizations that demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety through effective training programs and proactive risk management practices. The MPA has been recognized by NJIIF on numerous occasions over the past decade for its commitment to maintaining safe operations for employees, customers, and the community.

Safety remains a core value of the Authority's operations. Through ongoing employee training, facility inspections, preventative maintenance programs, and a focus on risk reduction, the MPA strives to provide a safe environment throughout its parking facilities and administrative offices.
